Guided & Audio Tours are available up to 2 hours before the museum closes. Please allow yourself around 3 hours to take a tour and visit the exhibition galleries.

Please Note!

Accompanying group bus drivers qualify for free entry.  Teachers on accompanying visits go free. A minimum of one teacher per 10 pupils is required. Accompanying Carer goes free. We recommend that you bring warm clothes and strudy shoes. Some areas of the museum can be fairly cold!


The museum’s exhibitions, tours, cafe and Power House are fully accessible.  There is a drop-off area at the entrance and disabled parking bays with easy access to the building.  Disabled toilets are available in the cafe and exhibition floors. We also have wheelchairs available – please ask at reception on arrival.
