VISITOR NOTICE – PITHEAD WORKS (FROM 13th APRIL 2026)
We are currently carrying out essential works at the Pithead. Visitor access will remain open for most of the time, although there may be some minor disruptions at certain points. There may also be some noise associated with the works.
We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding while we complete these improvements. The works are expected to be completed by 29 April.

The Museum, cafe and gift shop are open 7 days a week with the exception of Christmas and New Year.

1st November – 31st March – 10am – 4pm
(Last entry 2pm)

1st April – 31st October – 10am – 5pm
