Victorian architecture marries industrial style to create this authentic event space at National Mining Museum Scotland. The brickwork, vast arched windows and industrial features contribute to the charm of our Power House.

WEDDINGS

We cater small and intimate weddings to grand celebrations whether they are humanist, civil or religious ceremonies. The space can host up to 80 guests for a ceremony and 120 guests for wedding ceremony, drinks reception, formal dining and evening celebrations.  Additional rooms are available for drinks receptions on request.

    LADY VICTORIA COLLIERY

    The Lady Victoria Colliery, home of the National Mining Museum Scotland, was opened in 1895 as Scotland's first super-pit. It ceased production in 1981 and now serves as an example of one of the best preserved Victorian Collieries in Europe.
