Museum celebrates 40 years

We had a fantastic day on Saturday 10th August at our 40th Birthday Community Family Fun Day!  It was lovely to see so many happy visitors on site enjoying the activities, entertainment and exhibitions. There was such a buzz about the place – a real warm atmosphere and lots of happy smiling faces!

Special thanks to the Friends of NMMS for supporting this event, allowing us to offer FREE entry to our local communities to mark the occasion! We couldn’t have done this without them!  To find out more about Friends and what they do for the museum please see their page HERE.
