Leave a Lasting Gift to the Lady Vic

Make a real and lasting impact on the preservation of Scotland’s mining heritage by leaving a gift in your will. As a charity, we rely on our supporters to help us engage future generations with the history of the Lady Victoria Colliery.

With your support, we can continue to:

  • Keep the mining tradition alive by educating younger generations about our industrial heritage.

  • Preserve our truly unique site, the last remaining  recognisable deep coal mine in Scotland.

  • Protect our one-of-a-kind collections, including our working Winding Engine and collection of mining community banners.

  • Carry out vital conservation work on deteriorating parts of the site, such as the Undercroft.
