There are various ways in which you can become involved with the museum.

You may wish to give up some of your time to help us by becoming a volunteer – there are lots of different types of volunteering opportunities available.

If you work for a large organisation you could benefit from our Corporate Membership scheme. As well as entry passes to the museum we also offer addition benefits such as discounted room hire and early notification of events.

The “Friends of the National Mining Museum” is an independent organisation of people who support the museum and encourage its development. Friends’ benefits include an annual pass for the museum, regular talks and events, trips and a quarterly newsletter.

If you are interested in working for the National Mining Museum have a look at our Job Vacancies page for further information.
