Community Family Fun Day (sponsored by the Friends of NMMS)

Join us for our Community Family Fun Day on Saturday 10th August 20024 to celebrate the museum’s 40th birthday!   This is event is kindly sponsored by the Friends of National Mining Museum Scotland.

Activities on the day include Bouncy Castle, Pony rides, Magic and Puppet Shows, Face Painting, Clown, Balloon Modeller, crafts, badge making games, dress up, handling sessions and lots more.  Visitors will also have access to the museum’s exhibitions and interactives.

There will also be fundraising activities on the day, including Guess the Name of the Bear, a raffle and more.
