Storytelling – "First-Footing Food"
2 Dec 2017 (14:30 - 16:00)
Family storytelling workshop by the sensational storyteller Lea Taylor. We’ll follow the story of the Black Bun from when it was first eaten with Mary Queen of Scots to its use as first-footing over Hogmanay. Families will explore mining Christmas and Hogmanay traditions, sample some good Scottish food and make their own mining lamp to light your way home. Each child will also receive their own goody bag!
Tickets are £3 per child and are available to book now via this link.
