Sign up for your first shift as a Junior Miner at the Lady Vic! Do you think you have what it takes?

Kids will dress up in full miner’s uniform for the day. It includes a boiler suit, hardhat, torch, satchel and piece tin (for their snack break). They’ll be led by the Pit Boss to complete fun and interactive tasks to get them ready to begin their training. They will learn all about the smelly and deadly gases that miners encountered in the pits. Next kids will complete exciting sets of challenges intended to get them moving around the colliery and to see if they have what it takes to be a miner.
