The “Friends” is an independent organisation of people who wish to support the museum and encourage its development. A small committee is elected annually to manage the organisation.
How can the “Friends” support the Museum?
As volunteers working in the library, cleaning and repairing machinery, helping with exhibition, photography and gardening.
As individuals helping with special events, providing artefacts and documents, writing accounts of their experiences, keeping in touch with the museum.
Collectively by funding special projects from subscriptions and donations of members.
